The shape of the future
Dr John Harrison brings several decades of professional practice in journalism and communication to his work at the University of Queensland. He has worked in print, radio and television as a journalist, editor, and producer, and has won awards for his journalism and teaching.
At UQ he teaches both journalism and professional communication. John Harrison is known and recognized for his innovative teaching practice, and for his teaching and research collaboration with colleagues in science, medicine and engineering.
Today I am talking to John Harrison about the future of journalism and communications and how he helps prepare students to work in an increasingly challenging industry.
